Okay, these are the last three pictures of her snowman crap. I hope you are as relieved as I am.
You may not have caught this newsflash... Mom gets all this "stuff" out in the middle of NOVEMBER.... SOOOOOO, THANKFULLY she is even tired of them by Christmas day. That means that after I have opened my last pressie... mom and dad start taking everything down and shoving it all in storage totes.... This year it was (just bearly) warm and dry enough for dad to pull the truck up to the back deck and.... TAKE EVERYTHING back to the storage barn for a long rest. While they did that... I played with my new toys. It took them 4 hours.

They are all gone!!! What a relief.

Thanks everybuddy for all your Resolution suggestions. I am really partial to these: Make sure that mom and dad remember to give me my snacks, Mark all the snow so they know where to shovel, TRY to give away all of mom's snowman thingys, stop kissing cats.

The last one would be really easy since...I have NEVER kissed one, and don't want to either.

I will post my resolution on New Year's Day.

I am really glad that none of you seemed to want me to give up one of my favorite things ... saying Cat Crap. WHEW. I was pretty worried about that one. I'm just sayin'.

I'm still hoping for some ideas for my New Year's Resolution. I don't want to go tooo crazy with this thingy. Not like Brutus' mom, trying to get him to give up eating EYEBALLS and other grreat stuff. I'm looking for something... EASY for me. Things like, not sniffing various rodent butts. Or maybe not rolling in EVERY dead thing I find in the yard. EASY... butt not over the top. I'm still hoping you will give me more ideas.

Last year I resolved to TRY to be less afraid to go for rides in Jennifer Jeep. Mission Acompolished. I don't ALWAYS decide to go, butt I am much much improved with this.

Soooo, what am I going to promise for this year??? I am at a loss for ideas. I thought maybe you all would have some ideas. Mom thinks I should try to say "CAT CRAP" less often. Heck, I really R E A L L Y like that one. I hate to give it up. I'm just sayin'. What are YOU going to resolve to do or NOT do????

I still have more snowman thingys to show you... in honor of my furends who love the white stuff.

It was really nice here for the last two days. Butt last night the wind started howling and the snow started coming down again. Brrrrr, it got really cold and it is kind of nasty when I got up this morning.

I know that my snowloving furends would be thrilled with this stuff, soooo I am going to wag and wag and wag my tail and try to push it all in your direction. I don't know if it'll work or not, butt you can't fault a guy for trying. My furends and their happiness are very much important to me. I'm just sayin'.

Hey Everybuddy, I just found out that Santa Paws really did bring exactly what I asked him for. TWIX IS BETTER !!! She has just been having internet trouble and couldn't post. YEAH !! Twix is feeling much better. I was sooooo very much worried and I know a lot of you were worried tooo. Santa Paws is WONDERFUL. He gave me the bestest gift of all. My furend is healthy now.

Hi EVERYBUDDY, I don't know about YOU, butt I was soooooo tired yesterday that I ended up spending most of the day Napping. It was grrrreat actually.
I think today I will be able to play with my new stuff though. Darn, opening pressies is exhausting.

I made mom and dad get up at 6:30 so that I could see if Santa Paws brought anything for me. Since we got everything unwrapped early.... I told them they could just get those snowmen the heck out of here. I am tired of not having room to play... especially since I got some NEW stuff to play with. Soooo, when it finally quit raining... they gathered up the snowmen and packed them all away for 11 months of sleep...... Now that is good news.... BUTT the best news is that the rain melted all the snow out of my yard. I AM NOW LIVING SNOW FREE !!!

Christmas Eve.

This is Me , Frankie Furter, I just checked out Santa Paws' milk and cookies to be SURE they were SAFE and GOOD for him. They passed my inspection. Hey, I kind of got an early PRESSIE. My best mate, Barney left a comment on yesterday's post. Barney lives in the Land Down Under. It was already Christmas Day when he left the post. Hope you can hop back to it and read what he had to say.

I have my Un-stuffie, my Santa Paws stuffie, and my NOT ReinDEER antler.

I am with my SPECIAL camo bone stuffie. It means a lot to me beclaws Twix sent it to me as a Paw it Forward. I hope she is better. I'm worried about her.

I am also wearing my Grrrreat Snowman Scarf... It came to me from a super special "Lady". I hope she is wearing hers so that we can be dressed like twins.

Here I am wearing my CAMO JAMMIES AND SNOWMAN SCARF. I am waiting to go to bed so that Santa Paws can come to my house. I hope he brings me some YUMMMY snacks and a toy or two.

I got my dad some new hats, about a bazillion of them, and new binoculars. I got mom a KitchenSlave stand mixer. I let her have that EARLY... so that she could PRACTICE making gooood stuff for me,,,,,,,,,like ground up deer meat with carrots and apple and Sourdough bread for my dad and I. She is doing Ok, by the way. I think she should do more practice sessions though. I'm just sayin'.

Bilbo got his pressies opened. You can see him on Dory's Backyard. That was such a fun thing to do. Thank you again Jazzi for doing that for us. I'm just loving my UN-stuffied that Dexter (A.K.A. PeeWee) sent to me. It is very much grrrreat fun.

I also want to thank a certain someone... for the super duper SNOWMAN neckscarf. I LOVE it.

I'm not much for anything related to cold and wet... soooo the snowpeoples really aren't my thingy. BUTT, they make my mom happy... and as you all know... WHEN THE MOM IS HAPPY...EVERYBUDDY'S HAPPY. I'm just sayin'.

I heard on the news last night that... we got about 5 more mins. of daylight at the end of the day. I'm not sure about that though, it didn't seem like it stayed light any longer. I'm just sayin'.

First Day of WINTER

Oh boy.... I just got word that Bilbo got his pressie box from me. I was soooooo very much worried about it. I was afraid that the GRINCH Guy had gotten it. Now I can rest easy. He will be posting pics of him with his pressies later today. You can see it at Dory's Backyard. I can't wait......
Mom and dad are all tired and cranky and sore from all the deer work yesterday, and they still have a lot to do yet. I hope they don't forget to take care of ME and MY needs.

A few weeks ago a sweet lovely Dachshund girl sent me a Paw it Forward gift box. Instead of sending pressie boxes for my Paw it Forward I chose to do some other things instead. I gave fifty EXTRA pounds of food to the shelter when I made my normal monthly donation, and I also sent some green papers to help with rescue/transports. I did a couple of other things for fur folks in need and I went two days ago to the nursing home. I dressed up in my Santa Paws suit. The people liked it a lot. Mom was supposed to take the flasher thingy so I could post some pics... butt because she was scared about the bad roads... she forgot to take it.

Now that Bilbo's pressie has arrived.... I am completely ready for Santa Paws. EARLY even.

I have even written my letter to Santa Paws. I have asked him for one thing only. I have been worried about my furend Twix. I asked Santa to give her a bunch of health and to give the same to her grandma. That's all I want this year.

I am such a happy and lucky Dachshund.

Snow, Snow, Go Away.. Frankie wants to play

THIS is what happens to me when I go out in the SNOW. See how it clumps up and makes clingy awful snow balls in my silky furs???? It is terrible. Sometimes they get as big as a golf ball and I can't even walk. I hate this STINKY WHITE STUFF. I am miserable... even when I wear my bestest blue BOMBER JACKET which has a for real hoodie. This is ME Frankie Furter, on my deck.... after mom shoveled it... for the third time. I hope that you can tell from my.... EXPRESSION just how very much terrible I think snow is.

This is also ME... making a RASPBERRY... PBBBBBBBT at the snow.

Here I am again... just being miserable. I think I will just go to bed and wait for SPRING.

The only good thing I can think of is to say that the days are still getting a little bit shorter... well for the next two days anyway. I don't want a day like this to last one second longer than necessary.

Hurry spring.

PeeS I may not get to visit everybuddy's blogs today... BECLAWS... my dad brought home two deer last night. He is giving one to somebuddy that hasn't gotten any, butt today I may have to keep mom working to get MY deer taken care of. YUMMMMMMMMM.

Big SNOW coming

YES.... those SNOWFLAKES really are falling now.

Well, when I went out to _ _ _ last night at 10:00 the deck and my dad's truck were already covered with snow. * * * * * * * * * * * * * I think that Khyra, Mango, PeeWee, and Dexter are FINALLY going to get their wish... in spades.. or shovels or something like that. I am supposed to get between 3 and 6 inches. Now here is the problem with that... I (being a DACHSHUND) only have about 2 1/2 inches of "clearance"... if you get my "drift". No Laughing!! It was already to the DANGER POINT when I got up... and is still coming. I am really happy for you guys who want it... butt I wish I didn't have ANY in my yard.
