Worried about out TREE...
Back in JUNE.... when MANY of us all MET UP in Indiana... for the BAR..... WE won the Gift that Represented Dory and Arty and Crew's State of Colliefornia... There was this Clear TUBE with a REAL LIVE California RED WOOD TREE inside... it was just a BABY One...
LOOK at how it GREW... We had Mom Plant it fur us... and we Tended to it all Summer long...
It got TALLER and TALLER... almost Every Day we could see it growing...
Can you believe that it USED to fit in that SHORT TUBE???
The Cooler weather caused MOM to Worry about OUR FURENDSHIP TREE... so she began to PLAN for how to Over WINTER it... She finally realized that OUR TREE had become SOOOOO tall that it would NOT fit in any Sunny Location for the winter... SO... GASP...
She took Sharp Scissors and PRUNED it... She SAYS that it will make the tiny TRUNK stronger and better able to support the "Little Limbs"... WE say..... This had BETTER WORK Woman... OR ELSE...

It is cute, but it is so small. You could hang one red ball on it at Christmas to make it look like a Charlie Brown tree. Hope it lives through the winter.

Seriously though guys, I's pretty sure (very nearly pretty sure anyhoo) that The Woman knows what she is about. Maybe even could 'root' the trimming and you'd have TWO to remember your furiends with. Now that would really be raising the BAR.... hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
That is one fine looking tree, boys. It really did grow a lot so...I hope your mom and her trimming shears did not cause this little tree to get upset and stop growing. I am just saying...it wouldn't be good to kill a furiendship tree.
I am sure your mom did what was best for the tree. Nothing helps things grow like love.
We hope she's right. We think there is something wrong about pruning FRIENDSHIP presents. But if it gets winter sun...and lots of love...it should be fine. (Just don't go christening it or anything.)

We will keep our paws crossed that the tree trimming does the trick. Otherwise maybe you can threaten to get rid of some of your mom's snow freaks.
