So now in that study... there were a bunch of dogs and a fair
Now the dogs in the study were all OFF LEASH... and that is how we always are on our hill.
HOWEVER, in the interest of SCIENCE and KNOWLEDGE and stuffs we decided to check on a different variable... We checked on how WE place our poops..... Inside our SAFE Fenced area... as well as out in(ON) our Free to Roam where EVER... hill sides...
OKAY now here is the
INSIDE our Safe Fenced Area.... which we only use at NIGHT (so that Lions and Tigers and Bears and COYOTES and COUGARS and BOB CATS can't sneak up and get to us) or when it is Snowy or Rainy... beclaws it is FASTER fur us to get OUT and accomplish our missions.
(NOTE: this Compass is OLDER than Christopher Columbus.... Mom had Several of them, fur her students to use when she taught SCIENCE STUFFS to her Elementary School students... THAT is why it has her NAME on it... so the other TEACHERS would not "BORROW... and furget to return!)
BUTT we Digress...
OK.... As you can SEE when we are inside our Safe Fenced Area... which runs the Width our our house... EAST to WEST... WE placed our POOPS.... EAST to WEST
This makes for an INTERESTING VARIABLE which should be further explored... We were NOT ON LEASH... butt WERE NOT free to ROAM over the remainder of our 2 acres.
NEXT we have a Sample of our FREE TO GO ..where EVER we chews placement... and you can see that with THAT variable... we DID orient NORTH to SOUTH...

Mol mol mol well you guys know I poop in a box. I must tell you I always do it in the South facing corner!! I'm sure there is some physics to this or has something to do with the magnetic field or something. Maybe Bertie should be consulted.

This was a very interesting observation Frankie & Ernie. We don't have a compass but our mom knows which way is north and says we poop any which way. We are in a fenced yard but it is an acre so there is plenty of room.
Well thank goodness at least some doggies managed to get their humans to take this important research seriously. But Frankie, I am worried that your sample size is not big enough for reliable statistical analysis. I believe that the minimum number of data points needed is, precisely, 87.

Yeah we are non-discrimintory. We make our offerings to all directions.
We think that was a tax payer study. Can't quite see a philanthropic individual paying for studies like that...just our opinion.
Now, we do walk along and turn and stuff before we drop a load, but it seems to be more random. Sometimes we only just reach a poo approved area and just have to go regardless of direction.
Do you think wind direction could make a difference? Don't like our furs fluffed backwards...just sayin'.
We think your study was VERY scientific and Bertie would be approve.
