Running on GENERATOR Power

Hi Everyone,
Frankie's MOM here...    Yesterday we had a  ONCE IN A LIFETIME WEATHER EVENT...

WE HAD SUDDEN 82 MILE AN HOUR     WIND....       IT DID NOT LAST LONG... APPROX.20 MINS.   BUT NOW THERE ARE OVER 1/2 MILLION ELECTRIC CUSTOMERS IN CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST OHIO   WITHOUT POWER.
WE ARE RUNNING ON GENERATOR POWER ONLY ... AND DARNED HAPPY TO HAVE THAT BIG BEAUTY RUMBLING AWAY IN THE DRIVEWAY...    HOWEVER... IT IS NOT GOT TO RUN A COMPUTER ON GENERATOR POWER... SO I MAY NOT BE AROUND MUCH UNTIL POWER IS RESTORED...

WE ACTUALLY CAN SAY THAT..... WE HEARD THAT FREIGHT TRAIN SOUND...
THERE WAS NO TORNADO BUT THIS WAS        WILD.
I WILL try to answer   IMPORTANT Email...
As I said... the weather talkers are saying that THIS was a ONCE in a LIFETIME thing.
I have green beans to pick and can today... and some SLIGHT (fortunately) damage to try to clean up.        SEE YOU WHEN I CAN....     Frankie and Ernie say HI Everybuddy.

Lana

Good thing that you are all safe and sound and have back-up power. I know you were all so very brave when that wind blew thru.

Keep safe and don't worry about us. We'll be just fine while you take care of your stuffs over there.

Hope the green beans weathered the storm (no punn intended)

Hugs,
Lily Belle

So thankful you all have a generator! We've heard about the derecho (wind storm) that ripped across parts of the country yesterday. Sounds like it did an awful lot of damage - esp. to power lines. :(
Stay cool -

Gosh, we don't like to hear those big old winds either, they make all sorts of noisy sounds and things go clunk and stuff! We're sure glad you're safe!
