Today is the day for me to audition for the Christmas play that my writers' group wrote. I am very nervous about doing this audition. When I was in my school, I always got to practice my lessons for a week before I had to do the things in front of my teacher. This time my mom did not help me because she doesn't know what I may be doing in the play. I just don't think that is fair to me.
The other thing that is not fair is that my mom says I have to take a bath before I go to this audition thing. I don't know why that has to be. I had a bath last week. It is not good for my fur to have too many baths.
When I get back home from this audition thing I am going to run right out to my garden and dig and dig and dig. That always makes a dachshund feel better about the world.
